A team of students at Montclair State University has annotated the pictures, culled from a professor&#8217;s collection, in order to provide the contextual information necessary to a fuller understanding of the sites&#8217; significance. The team hopes that the project will inspire visitors to learn more about Norman Sicily and its complex past.
